Impact On Stage

The Client: Impact On Stage

ImpACT On Stage is a nonprofit organization that brings live theater performances into schools to address issues such as bullying, violence, sexual assault, addiction and discrimination. In addition to their performances, ImpACT On Stage provides students and teachers with a variety of lesson plans and other tools to help further the conversation around these issues and effect positive social change.

The Challenge: Reflect the organization’s core values

ImpACT On Stage’s founder, Jacob Gardenschwartz, wanted to increase ImpACT’s visibility while remaining faithful to the organization’s core values. He wanted their web site to reflect the intimate, immersive nature of their performances in a way that would attract both new donors and actors. In short, he wanted ImpACT On Stage’s website to have a bigger impact.

Additionally, he wanted the intimacy of ImpACT On Stage’s performances to carry over to the website and create an immersive experience with the user. The website should reflect what the organization is about and highlight its goals. In addition to this, Jacob wanted his website to appeal to donors and attract new actors.

The Solution: A Bold and intimate design

We designed a new web site that was both impactful and intimate. The sleek, red and back color scheme compliments ImpACT On Stage’s logo and reflects the bold nature of their work. The images, however, show ImpACT actors at work with students in a way that creates a sense of intimacy and familiarity. The site’s content is also organized in a clear, concise manner that allows visitors to easily find the resources they need, learn about ImpACT On Stage’s programs, and make financial contributions to support their powerful and important work.
