The Kitchenistas

The Client: The Kitchenistas

The Kitchenistas is a feature documentary film about women advocating for healthy food traditions to change communities and transform lives. What started as a 7-week nutrition program seven years ago for women seeking healthier diets in National City, CA, has become a Latina-led movement to raise the health, well-being, and resilience of the community.

The Challenge: A Quick-Release Date

Filmmaker, Mary Ann Beyster, knew about our work with Olivewood Gardens, so it was a natural fit to work with her to promote her new feature film, The Kitchenistas. By the time she contacted us, however,  her film launch was weeks, rather than months, away.  In a very short amount of time, She needed a movie poster, a website, and a custom logo and other graphics to promote the film, all of which had to have a cohesive look.

The Solution: Great Design With Little Time

With very tight deadlines before the film’s debut, Mance Creative designed the logo, movie poster and custom website for “The Kitchenistas”. Despite the very limited time constraints, this award-winning film was able to launch on time with all the necessary promotional materials. Mance Creative is proud of our work on this project and the opportunity it gave us to be a part of such an amazing organization’s story.
