Rubicon Theatre Company is an award-winning, not-for-profit, professional regional theatre company in Ventura, CA whose mission is to entertain, enrich and educate the region’s residents and visitors through the production of innovative professional theatrical productions, festivals, special events and education programs.
The Challenge: Reaching a Wider Audience and Growth
Impressed by the work Mance Creative had done with other well-known Southern California theatre companies, Rubicon sought us out to design its new Summer Concert series. It wanted a more modern, yet fun, aesthetic, and more importantly, it needed to reach a wider audience to help it grow its patronage and accomplish its goals as an organization.
The Solution: A Partnership of Shared Values
Mance Creative quickly onboarded and designed the entire 5 show concert series with a clean, fun and “retro” aesthetic that not only helped Rubicon break ticket box records for its series, but also help secure key regional sponsorships and corporate donors. But the work didn’t stop there. Because of our shared commitment to nurturing longstanding relationships, Mance Creative is now the Rubicon’s go-to graphic design firm, rapidly responding to its needs, while providing a consistent and stable partner as the organization grows and changes. In 2021, Mance Creative upgraded Rubicon’s website to help modernize its look and way of doing things better with cutting-edge advances in technology and design.
