The Client: Swenson Advisors
Headquartered in San Diego since 1998, Swenson Advisors is a full-service accounting and tax consulting firm. Their diversified client base includes both public and private companies across a broad range of industries such as real-estate, technology, manufacturing, distribution, not-for-profit and pharmaceuticals. Swenson Advisors combines the kind of personalized, customer-focused approach expected from regional firms with the sophisticated expertise found in larger national firms to provide their clients with a vast array of quality accounting services.
The Challenge: Globalization
In 2008, Swenson opened an office in Hong Kong and, in 2011, they launched SwenAsia®, a consulting division offering business solutions to companies establishing operations in Asia. Having worked with Mance Creative on previous projects, Steve Austin, Swenson’s Firm Managing Partner, approached us in 2013 to expand their branding and align it with the firm’s vision for expansion. We were tasked with modernizing the Swenson Advisors brand for a global market while staying true to their established reputation.
The Solution: Rebrand and Modernize
Mance Creative revamped Swenson Advisors’ entire brand. The new logo we designed is a modern, abstract telescope icon created out of simple blocks, symbolizing their company’s new global vision rooted in the buildingblocks of their established reputation for excellence. Additionally, we created new brochures, event flyers and other corporate materials, all of which maintained color schemes and characteristics from their previous brand identity to maintain a sense of continuity as they adapted to meet the challenges of their expanding vision.
Along with updating Swenson’s brand, we also modernized their website to reflect their new, global identity. The new website highlights their priorities and tells their story in a way that is designed to be both modern and to stand the test of time.
In addition with Swenson Advisors’ new corporate branding and website, Mance Creative was also tasked with developing the brands for Swenson’s sub products and their non-profit organization. Swenson Advisor’s sub-products include: Swenasia, Forensic Accounting, and AccountLease™. Their non-profit organization is known as the Swenson Children’s Foundation, a faith-based organization focusing on helping children in need.
Each has its own dedicated website or microsite, and its own personality while keeping characteristics reminiscent of the overall Swenson brand.
We have worked with Mance Creative for almost a decade. They are quite innovative and very responsive to our needs and those of our Foundation and our international accounting association.
We have asked Mike [Mance] to speak at our conferences to show how new websites enhance an organization’s window to the world.
